Ben Stein Making the Debate Interesting Again!
Let’s be honest. The Creationism/Darwinism debate isn’t going away any time soon but Ben Stein’s new film “Exposed” sheds some new light on the debate. Not from the “God created” vs. “nothing created” perspective but from the freedom of speech perspective. Creationists are labeled to be narrow minded judgmental people but that couldn’t be more false. In fact, as this film exposes, it is the Darwinist who could be tagged with that label for their aggressive and hateful attacks on creationists simply for questioning a theory that isn’t backed by any hard evidence. (For great examples of this just look at the videos posted on YouTube in response to the trailer for Stein’s film.)
Darwinist are still frantically looking for the evidence that has been missing from the very beginning in order to validate their theory while Creationists have the evidence that all of creation points to a designer backed by the validity and historical accuracy of the bible. However it is Darwinism that is taught and regarded as actual fact and Creationism as some far out theory with no evidence that only the ignorant hold on to.
The debate will continue to rage on but as this film exposes the labels need to be swapped.

What debate? You can't debate between science and religion. One can be proven and one cannot. Creationism is not now and will never be science. But that side is more than welcome to attempt to prove it through the scientific method. That's what it's there for. Perhaps if these "scientists" actually used real science, they wouldn't be laughed out of the community by real scientists.
Oh, Jason. The debate is over the causes and processes responsible for macroevolutionary change. "Creationist" is used by the establishment as a derogatory term for anyone who doesn't toe the party line of Neo-Darwinism. That's what this movie is about. In fact, many (if not all) of these so called "Creationists" (but really ID) believe in Evolution, and merely offer alternative explanations for macro-level change, as well as criticizing unsubstantiated explanations that are accepted merely because they are compatible with Evolution. Ultimately, you have proven the point that the debate is not open because men like you are biased against the alternatives. Free your mind! They might be wrong, but then again they might be right. But the marketplace of ideas should decide, not agenda driven scientists.
Horatio, how is it I manage to find you on the wrong side of every issue I come across? There's no party line to the scientific method. You either follow it, or you are not practicing science. End of story. I applaud the creationists who try to use the scientific method to prove their creationist beliefs. But I see no actual science, just religion attempting to re-brand itself. Use the scientific method, and there's a debate. Pitting religion against science is not a debate and it never will be no matter how much you whine about how unfairly you're being treated by big bad scientists.
Jason,
You say that there is no debate but you were the first to post a comment and were quick to reply to a comment contrary to yours. You are right; Creationism is not science but instead uses the discoveries of science as legitimate indicators that there are fingerprints of a creator.
Your assertion that if these ‘"scientists" actually used real science, they wouldn't be laughed out of the community by real scientists’ but the problem is that “real science” doesn’t answer the question as to the origin of life. Darwinism is a dead end. There is no scientific or archeological evidence for it and there never will be. The problem for the men in women in this field isn’t that they failed to use the scientific method rather they came to the realization that the scientific method exposes the holes in the theory of evolution which make it a virtual impossibility. In turn they were blacklisted simply for speaking the truth that the scientific method makes abundantly clear.
Others, like yourself, have attempted to make them out to be ignorant and uneducated simply because they are the ones who are actually sticking to the scientific method and questioning Darwin’s theories.
Thanks for posting here and please feel free to express your thoughts anytime.
